2. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the iLoveSport app, the iLoveSport platform, the website and connected features and services.
Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable Swiss data protection law. Where the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, processing may be based in particular on performance of a contract, consent, compliance with legal obligations or legitimate interests.
3. Account and Profile Data
When an account is created or used, we may process:
- Name and username

- Encrypted password or authentication information
- Profile picture and voluntary profile information
- Sports, interests and sport-related goals
- Account status and security settings
4. Posts and Community Content
When users publish content, iLoveSport may process posts, photos, videos, comments, reactions, group content, event information and other voluntarily submitted content. Such content may be displayed according to the applicable visibility and platform settings.
Users should not publish confidential or sensitive information about themselves or other people unless necessary and appropriate.
5. Communication
iLoveSport may process information required for private messages, group chats, support requests, user reports and moderation reports.
This information is used to provide communication features, support users, maintain platform safety and investigate potential violations of our rules.
6. Camera, Microphone and Media
Camera and microphone access is used only when a user actively accesses a feature that requires it and grants the corresponding device permission.
These permissions may be required for photos, videos, video communication, live training or other interactive sport features. Device permissions can be changed or revoked through the device settings.
7. Location Data and Maps
Location data is used for location-based features only when the relevant permission has been granted.
This may include nearby sports activities, events, sport partners, maps or routes. Location permission can be disabled through the device settings.
8. Technical Data
During operation of the platform, technical information may be processed, including:
- IP address
- Device type and operating system
- Browser and app version
- Language settings
- Time and type of access
- Error, security and server logs
This information is used to operate iLoveSport securely and reliably, diagnose errors and prevent misuse.
9. Push Notifications
If push notifications are enabled, iLoveSport may process a technical push token, device information and notification preferences required to deliver notifications.
Push notifications can be disabled through the device settings.
10. Purposes of Processing
Personal data may be used to:
- Create and manage user accounts

- Display posts, groups and events
- Enable communication between users

- Deliver requested notifications

11. Service Providers
iLoveSport may use carefully selected service providers for infrastructure such as hosting, databases, file and video delivery, email delivery, push notifications, maps, routing, authentication, security and other technical platform operations.
Service providers receive only information required for the relevant service. Depending on the feature, data may be processed on behalf of iLoveSport or according to the provider's applicable privacy terms.
12. International Data Transfers
Some technical service providers may process data outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area.
Where required, iLoveSport uses appropriate safeguards, such as recognised levels of data protection, contractual safeguards or other legally permitted mechanisms.
13. Data Retention
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, provision of the service, platform security or applicable legal retention obligations.
Deleted information may remain temporarily in backups and is removed or overwritten as part of normal backup cycles.
14. Account and Data Deletion
Users can request deletion of their account through the account deletion functionality provided by iLoveSport.
A deletion request may also be submitted to info@ilovesport.ch. Identity verification may be required before processing certain requests.
Information that must be retained due to legal obligations, establishment or defence of legal claims, security or abuse prevention may be retained to the extent necessary.
15. Data Security
iLoveSport uses appropriate technical and organisational safeguards. These may include encrypted connections, access controls, password protection, logging and backups.
No electronic transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

Subject to applicable law, individuals may have rights including:

17. Children, Teenagers and Age Safety
iLoveSport is intended for users aged 13 and older. Users under the age of 13 are not permitted to create an iLoveSport account.
iLoveSport applies additional age-based safety measures to certain features. Features involving location or other functionality considered unsuitable for minors may be restricted based on age.
Users can report inappropriate content or behaviour and can use available blocking and safety controls. Reports may be reviewed by iLoveSport for moderation, safety and enforcement purposes.
